GIFEC Supports ASUSHIAM M/A Basic School With ICT Equipment

In line with government’s digitization agenda of bridging the gap between the rural and urban communities, the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC), has donated computers and accessories to  Asushiam M/A Basic School in the Wassa Amenfi West Municipality.

The items were presented by Abraham Kofi Asante, the Administrator of GIFEC, as part of the School Connectivity Project, which is aimed as facilitating the learning and teaching of ICT in basic and second cycle institutions across the country.

In all 10 Dell desktop computers, 10 Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS), 1 Printer and a projector were presented to the school.

The  chief of Asushiam, who received the  computers and accessories on behalf of the school expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to Hon. Abraham Kofi Asante , adding that the items will be put to good use to achieve the intended purpose
