News & Media

Mr. Hayford Siaw, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ghana Library Authority (GhLA) and some Members of GhLA Staff, on Thursday, 27th January, 2022 paid a courtesy call on the Administrator (CEO) of GIFEC, Mr. Prince Sefah.

Mr. Siaw’s visit was aimed at strengthening the existing relationship between the two organizations, for mutual benefit.

Mr. Sefah and Mr. Siaw, among other things, discussed the enhancement of ICT education in Ghana, by reviving an already existing partnership between the two organizations. GIFEC, has in the past led in the provision of laptops and other ICT equipment to support digitized library services for students/readers.

Welcoming the GhLA Team, Mr. Sefah expressed appreciation for the visit, and assured that GIFEC is enhancing its project implementation strategies, by collaborating more with other stakeholders in order to drive down cost and ensure maximum efficiency.

He added that GIFEC will continue to work with the GhLA, to enhance capacity building and learning and to avoid duplication of efforts.
