Biography

Ms. Rebecca Torshie Ashare is the Director of Human Resource and Administration, with over 22 years of progressive experience in human resource management, public administration and institutional development.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Wisconsin International University College and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors, demonstrating her commitment to strategic leadership, corporate governance and effective institutional management.

Her professional journey reflects a remarkable progression from her early role as a Stenographer Secretary to her current position as Director of Human Resource and Administration. Through dedication, continuous professional development and strong leadership, she has risen through the ranks, gaining extensive experience in human capital management, administration, policy development and organizational transformation.

As a key member of the team that established the Fund’s Secretariat, she played an instrumental role in setting up the administrative and operational structures that have supported the organization’s growth and delivery of its mandate.

In her current role, she provides strategic direction for the Human Resource and Administration Directorate, championing workforce excellence, good governance, operational efficiency and a culture of accountability. She is passionate about developing people, strengthening institutions and creating sustainable systems that enable organizations to achieve their strategic objectives.
