ALHAJI FAISAL ISSAHAKU GBANJILI (Ag. Director, Administration & Human Resources)
Alhaji Faisal Issahaku Gbanjili is a seasoned management professional who has had a distinctive experience in the public and private sectors of Ghana. He previously worked with the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) There after, he had a stint with City Entrepreneurs Company Limited, a thriving Fast-Moving Consumer Goods business and a construction outfit as its Head of Business Development and Marketing. He spearheaded efforts leading to a transformation in the business operations of the firm resulting in the development of new markets, new projects, new product lines and increased profitability.
In 2017, he returned to the Public Service following his appointment at GIFEC as the Acting Director of Sustainability and Partnerships, a new directorate created as the main anchor of the re-aligned strategic plan of the organization. His span of control was over three key departments namely Research and Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Sustainability and Partnerships.
In view of his versatility and stewardship at the S &P directorate, Alhaji Issahaku Gbanjili was tasked to take over the combined departments of Administration and Human Resources in 2020 as the Acting Director to once again restructure the directorate towards executing its mandate effectively. Within a short period of time, he has supervised the drafting of a new scheme of service, policies on human capital development and organisational growth and other critical administrative policies.
Alhaji Issahaku Gbanjili possesses impressive academic credentials including a MSc. Degree in Strategic Management and Leadership from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Additionally, he has received extensive training from reputable specialised institutions within Ghana and abroad. Among the courses he had attended include Project management and Control from SETYM, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Executive Leadership in Action (ILM endorsed) London, Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation, Washington, USA, Global Collaboration (X-Culture,virtual class), Unlocking Rural Mobile Coverage, GSMA, Accra, Effective Report Writing and Presentation Skills, WKFB, Accra and many others.
