The Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) has donated twenty (20) desktop computers and accessories to the Anfoega Senior High School in the North Dayi Constituency of the Volta Region. The donation forms part of GIFEC’s mandate to bridge the digital divide and promote equitable access to ICT and quality education across the country.
The presentation was made on behalf of the Administrator of GIFEC by the Director of Corporate Affairs, Ms. Francisca Mawufemor Adjei, and the Deputy Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Hon. Justice Srem Sai, who jointly handed over the items to the school.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Adjei reaffirmed GIFEC’s commitment to ensuring that every Ghanaian, regardless of location, has access to modern ICT tools and opportunities. She emphasized that digital literacy is essential for national development and encouraged students to take advantage of the computers to enhance their academic performance
